Inspiration of the week: Timothy Saccenti
Timothy Saccenti is a photographer and director who lives in New York city. As a photographer Timothy has created scores of portraits of pop musicians such as Erykah Badu and Pharrell.
He balances his pop sensibility via avant-garde print and music video collaborations with record labels including Warp Records and Domino. Additionally he has photographed and directed multiple commercial campaigns for clients such as Sony Playstation, Nike, LandRover. Basically, the big boys :)
In the fine art realm his solo show for the Diesel, Denim gallery in Tokyo, Japan, “The Garden” was a modern, twisted take on the creation story utilizing wall sized prints, sculpture and a short film. Recently the Japan Times described his work as “charting a classic quest for life’s meaning within a sci-fi context”.
Most recently, Timothy directed ‘Not Getting There’ for Blonde Redhead, which emerged from his collaboration with the band on their tour visuals.

Wowza. Almost slept through another flight check-in today. This time I can blame something other than Jack Daniels. The iPhone is currently suffering from a winter flu/ two day bug. So if you need your alarm to work try this fix!

Holy shizzle… where have I been? I’m the two and a half millionth-ish person to see this. I’m slipping… must be the rigmarole of xmas shopping!
Looks pretty awesome though - although no doubt will contribute to the downfall of learning languages. It’s too darn easy now to get away without knowing a word.
