bugaletto123 asked: Hello Stacey I have been admiring your work for some time and I have decided to idolise you as one of my main artists for my GCSE creations. The only problem I have is I can't seem to find anything about you such as what inspires you what made you want to become such a modern day artist etc! I hope you can reply soon as I would love you indulge myself further into your work, much thanks.

Introducing a groundbreaking technique that seamlessly merges computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques, first-time director John Kahrs takes the art of animation in a bold new direction with the Oscar®-nominated short, “Paperman.”

Anna See - BZA.CO

I came across the artwork of Anna See on Bza.co, whose prints I really adore. She has a lovely style, and can see some of these very much at home in my flat. The are prints of hand-pulled linocuts - which gives the piece a very tactile look. They also look like great additions to kids bedrooms….such as her foxes and racoons. Great work Anna!

loopermovie:

This new Looper Animation is very, very special.

Zach Johnson (who did these painted posters) worked with Noah Fisher to create a gorgeous animation, by hand painting over 700 frames.  The gif above is pulled from it, but you need to see the whole thing.  I want every single one of them on my wall.  Check it out over at Apple Trailers.

In celebration of Looper’s release today, I’m thinking The Made Shop tumblr will be All Looper All Day today.

If you haven’t yet seen the HAND. PAINTED. TRAILER. that Zach made for it, that’d be a pretty good place to start. It’s one of my favorite things Zach has ever made.

Absolutely beautiful.

OwnFone … Interesting product.

UK-based company OwnFone has created a simple phone that can only be used to receive calls and make calls to important people in your life. Aimed to react to phone owner issues related with children and the elderly ….. this has plenty of scope.
